Cupid brought them together. The arrow aimed at the target. Their first date was the bullseye. Their brief encounter online had carried over to a mutually available meeting.

It was awkward at first, but they quickly moved on and realized they had more things in common than differences. Jenn’s unique quirks were a match for Rob’s fun taste in Marvel comics. She knew instantly that he was the one for her. Her sweet and superhero demeanor was a force that Rob gravitated to. There wasn’t an adventure too wild for them and nothing too far out that wouldn’t intimidate them. Their love for trying new things, venturing out to different places in the Bay Area and their love for the ocean grew with time. They had found their sidekick in one another where love always triumphed.

He knew that life didn’t mean anything without her and Jenn’s feelings reciprocated. Her love to help people and to brighten his day are traits that are immeasurable. His love to make her happy and to remember details that were uniquely hers always fulfilled her heart. So much that one day Jenn casually showed a Sapphire ring that caught the glimmer in her eye to Rob. The ring was an antique and carefully set between two diamonds from a shop on Etsy. So intrinsically designed, it remained in the back of Jenn’s mind. Not knowing that he cleverly set up a faux alias in the attempt to purchase the ring, she checked in on the ring’s status every so often. Until one day, she noticed that it had been sold. Her heart sank a little and disappointment clouded her mind. She tracked down to see the buyer’s name, probably to talk her back into returning the ring with a little hope that maybe Rob would pick it up. To her dismay, the ring was sold to a lady. She wondered if she’d love it as much as her and if that ring would crown the next chapter in that lady’s life as it would for her. Time passed and Rob being as detailed as he is, carefully selected the moment to propose. When the moment came, she noticed that the ring was eerily familiar. In a swift second, Jenn realized that the buyer of her long lost ring was Rob! She knew at that moment that the answer to his life-long question was an inevitable, irrevocable and ecstatic ‘yes!’

Jenn and Rob’s nuptial will take place in Monterey, and it pairs perfectly with their engagement session location. They both knew that the ocean was an element that brought them fond memories along with an anticipation for the future memories to be made. They took Victor and me along for the wild and little windy ride. The day illuminated entirely and Jenn’s joy for this moment was a force to be reckoned with. Rob handsomely paced himself keeping up with her excitement, and we followed their lead. The cliffs and ocean and mountains and her Farmgirl floral bouquet were small details that tied their love together even tighter with each capture. I stepped back a few moments to make sure that not a moment was missed. Their ease and flow were indescribable, and their lighthearted scenes with water guns brought out their inner superheroes. We know wholeheartedly that this is a tale that will end in forever.

Jenn and Rob, every minute even when scouting areas was full of joy and entertainment. We love your love for Game of Thrones among the many ‘so-called-weird’ details that make up you. You teach us to embrace those parts that make us-us, and we can’t wait to see what you have in store in November. We think the only thing missing were the two kitties but until next time.
