The last four months slowly accelerated as Ashley and Greg’s wedding day finally approached. She wanted things simple and chic, and he wanted to make her happy. It had been years since they first met at their former workplace and thus started dating. They had a long road of memories, affection and seasons changing and getting married is the crown of their life together. Her heart was to celebrate this long-awaited date with only their family and friends.

Being able to marry each other in the house where Ashley grew up was the perfect piece of the puzzle to their story. Her dad built the house from the ground up. They had hundreds of stories growing up on the property. Those stories slowly made their way into her dad’s toast. Every corner had Ashley’s touch, from the Redwood trees she and her brother planted when they were kids, to the floral arrangements on each table. Being located in Sonoma, the grapes and vines adorned the hand-built house in the front yards.

Ashley made her way down the aisle of green grapes while she locked eyes with Greg. Her dress was designed and sewn by herself. She looked glamorous and incredibly ready to marry her love, Greg. The ceremony was the shortest and sweetest it could’ve been. They swiftly exchanged vows and finished with the first kiss as husband and wife. The day ensued quickly after that. Sunset and the dimly lit stars were the heavenly backdrop for Ashley and Greg along with their families.
