Golden Gate Park, San Francisco Engagement: Gina & Ken

She thought it was just another day in the City, San Francisco. At first she felt a little unsure about Ken’s confidence in their day plans as she always had some sort of say in their choice of events. But Ken was precise. He had a plan and help to carry out the most significant surprise he had ever thought of. They took in the warm sunshine and walked along Pier in San Francisco. Gina had a little feeling that this was the day that Ken had chosen to propose. He gave away bits of information with each nervous gesture while he glanced at his watch.

The Uber arrived, and his sigh of relief led Gina to believe that there was something special about the Uber. But as it dropped them off at the Crissy field beach empty-handed, she realized that maybe the grand gesture wasn’t happening. They sat a bench and Gina took out her phone out of habit and Ken advised her to go to a predetermined spot on the shore. Slightly unmotivated she walked over to be at his side. The sunny view of the Bay and the mountains made an impression, and then a sailing boat went by with a huge banner, saying “Gina, will you marry me?” Gina then smiled big and turned to Ken, and he professed his eternal intentions to her. While he slipped the ring on her finger, everything became a blur for her. A joyful blur, but one that ended in a ‘yes!’

They heard about us through one of our former T&V bride and grooms (whom we’ll be forever grateful to). It was easy to make them smile. We walked through the Golden Gate Park looking for greenery on a very forecasted day. The infamous fog rolled in and clouded the park, but as it stretched itself further, the farther, we walked out of its reach. Gina and Ken braved the temperature which attested to how they’ll walk through anything together in their lives. Gina’s mermaid locks (as we lovingly called her) gave a Disney like feel to their session while Ken’s grand posture was typical of a Prince Charming in real life. Their affection to one another was as easy as Ariel and Eric’s but better.

Ken and Gina, how lucky were we to cross paths with you two and all that you are. We were immediately blown away by your eye and care for detail and love for love. We can’t wait to see what Seattle holds in store for you two. Bless you!
