A Grandview Classic affair
She turned around the corner to meet him. She took a deep breath with the feeling of butterflies fluttering everywhere. Troy faced the direction of the view–the Grand view of beautiful San Jose and its majestic mountains towering the city. He looked on until he felt the touch of Christina light finger touch tapping his shoulder letting him know she was there. He turned around and couldn’t hold in all of those emotions–all of those years of memories, laughter, growing pains had led them here to their first look as husband and wife.
He held her and had a moving moment for the first few minutes. They had both had been each other’s constant, their support for one another, each other’s number one fan–but this day brought a new name for one another. Christina glowed in her very classic dress, and Troy was the happiest man that day. The forecast said it would rain, but the beautiful pink skies that day said otherwise. Even with rain or shine, this wedding would go on.
Their family and friends embraced them, cheered them on at every chance they could. Their shouts of celebration as Christina and Troy had their first kiss echoed throughout the Grandview Hills. This day was long awaited, inevitable and the launch of a new season in their lives.
Troy being a photographer himself had carefully curated elements and details that was a representation of their lives together. Gadgets and gizmos aplenty adorned the Grandview Restaurant throughout telling of their Disney tale proposal. Popcorn and handmade soaps by Troy’s mother were gifted to guests, and no one left empty handed including ourselves.
Troy and Christina, we took a part of your heart with us. You teach us to love hard and always to have fun and maybe go a little bonkers. Just as Alice replied to the Mad Hatter, “I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret –all the best people are.” We wish you a hundred million and infinity of lifetimes together. In this and the next.
