Picture this, literally, a romance amidst the workplace, but not just any workplace. This workplace is one full of the unexpected, full of people, caring people and sick people. They met working in the ER, him being an attending and she was in the middle of completing her residency but the chemistry was inevitable, and it was reminiscent of Grey’s Anatomy, without all the thematics that a TV show may put on for the sake of entertainment. Kim and Nick shared their vocational passions and soon developed one so strong for each other, that Kim crossed the country to follow Nick in his trajectory to San Francisco. It didn’t take long until they finally decided together to spend the rest of their lives together. They’re eagerly looking to new adventures of hiking and exploring their new horizon.
It felt as if time passed by in a minute by the time and we went from trekking the hills of Mount Tamalpais down to Stinson beach in a second. The hills were peaceful looking, and a blue blanket of sky kept the notorious fog at bay even though the forecast said otherwise. We did everything we could to be able to schedule Kim and Nick’s session since their crazy doctoring hours are a little more than your typical 9 to 5 hours. As well as Nick at the time was on the verge to take off to Africa to provide medical care knowledge in underserved areas, and we were so moved by his stories about the different parts of the world he’s seen. Victor was inspired to take on a probono international endeavor from just listening to Nick’s experiences. As we made way throught out the Rock Springs trail, Kim, being the most recent Houston transplant, was quickly impressed by 360-degree views of all of Marin, San Francisco and the East Bay (if you squinted hard enough). They wanted to give their out-of-town guests a little taste of their Bay Area love and life. I’m sure they’ll come back for seconds one day :0
Kim and Nick, we are so blessed to be able to have done this well enough in time before all the busy travel plans you two have. We hope Nick came back safe and sound that you have even more stories to tell once we meet again! We’re eagerly counting down the days for your June wedding at my alma mater! Cannot wait!
