Romantic and Classic San Francisco Engagement Session

It was a gamble from the start. Both being different parts of the country, it was like fate had destined them to meet that evening in Las Vegas. They were both crossing paths, soon to depart but one last table game had caught both their interest. She had no intention to make a connection, but it sparked nevertheless. Meissa and Dave started a conversation and it’s never ended. They parted ways, Dave back to Wisconsin and Meissa back to the bay area.

They didn’t lose touch and they maintained their relationship from long distance. Both made their efforts to continue their love story by flying back and forth and getting to know each other more and more. Dave finally made the move permanently to the Bay Area and they both settled in San Francisco in their beautiful home with panoramic view of the Bay. Having settled in and making a life together, Dave decided to ask Meissa an important question. They were both sitting in their couch spending time together that evening. It was simply romantic and sweet. He asked her to marry her and she started to plan the wedding.

It was a beautiful June day when we met them at City Hall in San Francisco. They intend to marry there and so naturally it was the best backdrop to photograph this part of their story together. It’s ornate, old-worldesque with miles of marble floors gorgeous building. Every time Victor and I get the opportunity to go and photograph, you’ll know that we’ll say yes! Even for our own. Meissa rocked a black gown and Dave looked dapper in his 2-piece suit. While the sun was starting to set, we headed to Baker Beach and concluded their session on the coast with a cloudless sunset as the backdrop.

Sometimes, Victor and I as we’re headed off from a session, we’ll talk about how incredible the evening was. We’ll say what we’re grateful for and how blessed to do what we do together. We’ll listen to our classic bolero playlist as if we’re narrating the story all over again. Yes, we’re romantics and we love love and people like Meissa and Dave.
