It was a crispy winter day at the top of a hill with golden hour luring overhead. The cherry red vintage car gave a big welcome with Santa’s wine shop right next to it. Ram’s Gate does the Holidays with style. Each corner was like  slice from a movie set. I came to photograph some of the event stylings my friend Katie from Cotton + Oak designed for one of her long time clients. 

It was slightly moody and the rich color palette matched the grey oak finishes from Ram’s Gate property. It was probably something in the air, something like anything can happen. So I went about to the different corridors and outside spaces plus the small yet decadent room where the dinner was going to take place. If I were guest, I’d probably never want to leave. 

As the sun slowly hid behind the neighboring Sonoma hills it neared our finish time. I quickly went around and photographed the different tablescapes the Cotton Oak Event planning team put together. The beautiful dark votives paired well with the stone surfaces with the darker color scheme. I’m always amazed at how beautiful everything comes together when C+O is behind the curtain. The light changed drastically in a matter of minutes and the trees were lit up with Christmas cheer. The night swiftly came and a beautiful soirée was on the verge to begin. I bid goodbye to the orchards of olive trees and the panoramic views that surround Ram’s Gate.
