The day started quietly. The low hum of morning and love slowly crescendo into the dawn of a new season. The day that they’ve been planning for was in full swing. Rafael carefully walked around his home avoiding any peek of Sarah before her grand entrance in white. She quietly waited and relaxed as the final touches were lightly brushed. Her smile and stillness were the true inner elements of her beauty. Every piece they had chosen, the colors, the rings, the glasses, and details were carefully curated to tell their story; The story about the day that will begin a new season.

Rafael wasn’t able to hold still. The tears he shed upon taking in Sarah’s bridal beauty was moving, consecrating that moment. The private meeting before the ceremony that morning was the best way to head off to get married. It was time. The clock kept ticking and even faster as we arrived at the St. Joseph The Worker’s Church. Family and friends anxiously waited to get a moment with the couple, as the guitarists strummed preparing for Rafael’s entrance. The mass and ceremony progressed to the moment where they were officially pronounced husband and wife. Their smiles said it all and the abundance of congratulations and embraces afterward showed the unending support of their families.

There wasn’t a cloud, mist or the usual summer fog. It was a bright day. God clearly was in on it. He made it just as Sarah had envisioned it. A million suns couldn’t have made this day brighter and full of joy. All the people in the room were people who shared so much with them. Every one of them was touched as both Sarah and Rafael’s fathers gave a few words about their children’s journeys that led them to this place.

Sarah and Rafael have inherited decades of love and marriage. Their affection for one another was frequently made known as they thanked each guest. Their hearts for their family and friends didn’t skip a beat. Even when it came to us saying goodbye. Sarah and Rafa, we have grown to be so endeared with your story and who you are as people. We give thanks to God that He somehow paired us with your magical day. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We wish you a million more moments of happiness, peace, and love (plus the 20 grandkids).
