Harvest Inn, St. Helena Destination Elopement: Erin & Brian

It didn’t take long for Erin to be hooked to Brian. Their many trips together, endless amounts of memories together and their careers achievements paved the way for this moment. They traveled all the way from Louisiana to the beautiful Napa grounds. St. Helena was the place that where they would become husband and wife. They decided that having an elopement style wedding was more their speed.

It was intimate, lovely and uniquely them in every detail. Erin brought her dress, her bands and had designed her floral arrangements from afar. While Erin got ready, her faithful mama helped her put on her dress and gifted her a sixpence for her shoe fulfilling the lucky promise of ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue…’ Erin wore all kinds of happy emotions while she fastened her dress. It was so intricate that I found myself putting down my camera and making use of my small fingers to help lace the buttons. I’ll never forget that happy memory. She walked out of her gorgeous Harvest Inn suite to marry her beau.

Brian had a couple of unexpected surprises up his groom sleeve, and one was that her parents to witness her getting married. Her dad escorted her to the St. Helena Catholic Church where the Deacon was waiting to marry these two. Although he made note that it was one of the smallest guest lists he’d seen, he admired them for putting God first for their happy union. It was a sweet and brief affair, but unforgettable.

June 9th gave a welcome to my 29th birthday, but it also gave way to for Brian to marry Erin. We will forever share the beautiful date for the many years to come. Erin and Brian, thank you for making us feel so at home with the two of you and your lovely parents. We know Napa will forever hold a special place in your history as a family, but we also feel that we took a part of Louisiana with us. We hope you two celebrated all month long!
