Mission Santa Clara de Asis: Jennifer & Phillip

This was it. This was the day they had waited for more than a few years. Jennifer and Phillip took it with ease as they both delved into a new season of their life together. They came back to Phillip’s Alma mater campus. Although, this time, this time it wasn’t to visit any professors or to attend class or for a tour. This time it was for their long-awaited wedding day. They bypassed the notorious 5-year waiting list for this beautiful August day.

Family and friends came from all different parts of the country. They had thousands and thousands of memories with each of them, and for them, it was an honor to give their guests a grand tour of one of the oldest missions in California. The Santa Clara University is renowned for it’s painted ceilings, the over 200-year-old wall that’s moved for ages after each coastal earthquake. The lush green escapes also were a final touch to the magic of this campus. Nevertheless, this day was utterly and quintessentially stunning for their own nuptials.

Jennifer remained so grateful at each turn while Phillip laughed his nerves away. As they married, each step they took was smooth and natural. They held onto one another and sneaked in a wink or smile or two at each other. Their parents stood so proud and even patiently waited while their son and daughter took portraits permanently witholding this moment for the years to come. Their many guests praised the joyful couple on their loyalty to friends, family and now each other.

Jennifer & Phillip our hearts remain ever grateful for the beautiful words you shared with us privately that wedding evening. It is because of stories like yours that give us such purpose. We hope Maui was terrific as your life will be together!
