They had met once before in college. They were different people then but shared aspirations to grow into their fields. Kristen shared mutual friends with Ryan when life was a bit more carefree back then. Eventually, they both moved forward with their lives until they came across each other years later. Their friendship was rekindled and the romance inevitable.

After years of sharing intimate moments of wine tasting, Giants vs. Dodgers rivalry, adventuring, traveling and the small moments in between, the time came to settle down. Kristen and Ryan already knew that the next step would be forever. Already anticipating the proposal, Kristen narrowed down the wedding date, and Ryan cleverly planned his grand gesture. Each spring day passed by, and although the anticipation was evident, Kristen remained patient. On a forecasted weekend day, they took a stroll down memory lane, where their friendship began. Ryan surprised her with a special announcement in the newspaper. It was Kristen’s birthday, and He got on his knee and concluded his question with a diamond ring. Kristen was overcome with happiness and immediately responded with a kiss and a ‘yes.’

Both being from coastal areas, they both knew that the beach would be the perfect background for their love tale shoot. Montara beach’s sunshine attracted people from all over and the sand carefully caressed our feet as we trotted along the ocean line. After our hike down to the sand, I knew they were the daring type and the fun was about to begin. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and Karl, the fog, neglected to pay the Bay Area a visit, which is always appreciated. They both had a glow about them. Maybe it was their recent Greek travels, or it was the sheer love for one another. Ryan had a grace about him to make Kristen smile and to bring a quiet stillness as he pulled her hand. Victor was taken aback with the colorful and sensational sunset we were gifted that day. It crowned their love for one another perfectly.
