The Outdoor Art Club, Mill Valley Wedding: Ade & Rigo

It was more than ten years ago to the day when they first met. They were young with long roads ahead and eager to fulfill their dreams –dreams that they had set out to pursue when they first came to this country. His brother firmly held to his champagne glass while Rigo took a moment to wipe some of the tears as his brother narrated the challenging journeys he and his bride had to endure. This wedding day was more than just two people coming together; it was a closing of a chapter, it was a celebration of all the hard and winning chapters to come along. Rigo leaned into Ade while everyone the room was moved by their story together.

Their wedding day was a pristine August Sunday almost as if it was made up of fairy dust and magical gnomes putting every detail in place. They had eloped the year before but waited to throw a celebration together where all of their closest people in their lives could join them. Ade was surrounded by her sisters and her lovely mother while Rigo was drinking in the beautiful sight of the Golden Gate Bridge from his room in the esteemed Cavallo Point Hotel. Everybody was all smiles, and there wasn’t a detail of imperfection in anything.

He saw her coming down the aisle toward him for the third time, and it was easy. Reciting each other’s vows flowed easy. Getting married to each other was an inevitable choice, and life became complete with a third kiss. (Third because the day before they had formally married in the church). Everybody had a story to share about them. Every guest had a lovely impression and unanimously cheered them on throughout the day. During dinner, Ade’s father expressed a few words to the rest of the crowd and concluded with thanking Rigo for having been a better partner for his daughter than he could ever pray for.

Ade and Rigo, we know that planning for this day was full of decision-making but can we say that we are so incredibly touched that one of those decisions was having us on your day. We are forever linked to you guys and can’t wait to go on one of your wine country tasting dates! Miles de bendiciones!
