Ritz Carlton San Francisco Wedding: Faith & Garret

The day finally came, and each of them couldn’t bear the wait any longer. The forecasted weather on that August day in San Francisco wasn’t unable to compete with the overwhelming joy that each of them had. Faith had just gotten the last brush stroke of powder in her pajamas and sipped on her morning drink while Garret started to put on his cuff links. Her friends kept her slightly distracted with old childhood anecdotes while Garret took some time to recite his vows. This day was inevitable, and at each moment that unfolded, there was so much meaning and emotion.

They reserved some time in their day to just enjoy being with one another before the festivities began. He took one look at her, and he was overjoyed at how perfect she looked. In typical Faith fashion, she surprised with him one more gift, and it stunned him. They were quiet while we captured almost each breath and sigh. The Ritz Carlton had never looked more beautiful, and in spite of the weather, their affection for one another warmed every inch of the grounds.

Faith and Garret’s gratefulness and love for each other was pronounced in their vows. Besides being there to commemorate their journey together into the next chapter, they also took a moment to honor their parents, without whom they wouldn’t have been able to be there. They embraced them and then sealed their promises to each other and God with a kiss. Family and friends surrounded them, greeting them and toasting to the newly married couple.

Every aspect was carefully designed to represent them. Faith changed out of her traditional white gown to a Qi Pao, a traditional Chinese wedding dress. Naturally, with a new outfit, we had to have a second couple’s portrait part to keep celebrating and capturing their legacy that started that day. Their ease into each sequence had them smiling, dancing and just loving on their guests. We felt so honored to have been there and have captured these precious memories. This is a small vignette into their day.
