High School sweethearts and they kept growing together with each year that went by. They traveled from their cabin in Tahoe to exchange vows in the beautiful San Francisco City Hall. Their friends from near and far traveled to San Francisco to witness them make life-long promises to each other. Jason couldn’t contain his joy. He greeted everyone with so much excitement and heart while Jasmine held onto him smiling and thanking everyone. They married on our beautiful wedding day anniversary, and we couldn’t have imagined celebrating any other way but by photographing the two of them.

It was simple, modest, but timeless. Jasmyn had unique timing every time we spoke. In our first correspondence our town was amidst a heavy rainstorm and so was Tahoe. As we met in person for the first time, Napa and Sonoma areas had been affected by the wildfires and elicited a permanent sunset-like glow throughout the skies. It was clear, Jasmyn and Jason were a force to be reckoned with. Their affection for one another was apparent and easy. Their late night dancing, the mountain climbing, camping in the rain, and house fixer-upper adventures had led them to this. They promised for more and to infinitely love one another as they transition to different seasons in life.

After their ‘I-do’s’ were exchanged and family came around to celebrate them, they took a moment to let this new chapter marinate. We captured their sweet moments together as we walked throughout the busy San Francisco City Hall that Friday afternoon. On our way to the Perennial for a cocktail hour with their guests, Jasmyn and Jason talked about their adventures in the Bay Area. They let their guests know that Victor and I were also celebrating our wedding anniversary that same day. We felt incredibly honored that they even took the time to remember that small detail. We knew that Jasmyn and Jason were all about celebrating not only themselves but people in their lives who helped make their love story come true.
