University Club Wedding: Kat + Greg

The panoramic San Franciscan view did not compare to the elaborate beauty that the day compelled for Kat and Greg. Their final moments before they became officially Mr. and Mrs were filled with details, anxiety and laughter in between. They were adored and surrounded by friends, sisters, and brothers, and family from all over the country. With everyone dressed to the nine, Kat stunned her guests and groom as she made her entrance with her father in the arm in the Old St. Mary’s Cathedral. The nerves finally settled after the first kiss they had as husband and wife.

The sun slowly set as they dined and danced with the cityscape as their backdrop. Everything was perfect. The guests and the couple were serenaded by the groovy beat of the Hot Einstein band and champagne scent filled the air. This was truly a night to be remembered in all its glamour but was topped by the sweet words of Kat’s sisters and Greg’s best man. It was an affair where “love” was the theme; something that resonates with my heart. It permeated all the way from the handwritten notes they had exchanged before they saw each other; to the selected 1st Corinthians 13 verse reading, and the “All you need is Love” by the Beatles first dance song. Love was the main factor. Love for one another, their families and friends.

Kat and Greg, thank you for bringing us along for the ride. Your love for one another and life inspired me to view your wedding day as an amazing start to your life-long adventure. Your children will undoubtedly inherit Greg’s blue eyes and Kat’s aspiration to see the world. Thank you for showing me a little bit of Baltimore with a tang of SF. It was and is an honor.
