Vintners Inn, Santa Rosa Wedding: Milca & Francisco

It seemed like a long wait for Francisco. The rehearsal the night before was over and just like that in a blink of an eye and a butterfly flutter or two later, it was their wedding day. He was nervous. He wrote down his heart on paper ready to recite to the love of his life-Milca. She was patient, placing every last touch of makeup and veil in its precise place. They both knew and reminisced the long journeys to this day. It was a journey full of life’s seasons–it’s ups and downs with a prayer in between. Through all of life’s lessons and whims, they were ready for the next chapter.

The beautiful July day shined on them and their guests. Their pastor-friend married them while Milca’s family serenaded the day with a piano and guitar. Everyone who mattered was present, and God put every detail in its place. Francisco, full of anticipation stood up at the very front while bowing his head. He couldn’t look at her, but once she made her way down the aisle, he forgot that anybody was there and he teared up all of his excitement to see her. Milca, as well as her proud father, could see how touched he was and nothing else mattered. In the bliss of what appeared to have been minutes, they were finally married.

Milca and Francisco let the moment sink in that they were finally a family. Friends from near and far congratulated them, and Milca wore a smile at every turn. The John& Ash co. part of the Vintners Inn venue was the perfect green backdrop for their portraits. They let go of all the nerves and relaxed into each other’s newly married arms. After beautiful words were exchanged during their dinner and presentation of their engagement session, they dined and celebrated the long life to come.

Milca & Francisco, you two touched us so much at each turn of the journey to the altar. We know and believe wholeheartedly that you will keep succeeding at each season of life to come. God is forever in your corner and from the many blessings that you two received on that day, you will not only survive life together but thrive together. We thank you so much for letting us capture this for the many generations to come!
