It was a warm October day with the sun shining high over the 360-degree view of all of Santa Clara from their suite window. Leticia was amidst her bridal beautifying process and Art dining with his friends. They were in their last moments before would they lay eyes on each other and everything would change. The day was tied together by millions of moments of laughter, quiet, tears, laughing, embracing, exchanging words and lots of dancing. Everyone, far and wide, had come to see the two unite forever into one. Regal, elegant and the definition of a goddess, Leticia marched down the aisle with her parents gently nudging her sweet flower girl on. K-Ci and JoJo serenaded them for that brief moment as it finally settled in-this-moment that had finally arrived.

Art’s smile said it all. They showed no nerves, no stress, nothing but a serene certainty that their pinnacle moment was something written in the stars. They laughed and high-fived while their best friend Nate ushered them in their new matrimonial ties. Ticia and Art exchanged the familiar vows and concluded with and ‘I do’ and a kiss. They were greeted with cheers, high-fives, and applauses from all of their loved ones plus the crowd at the hotel restaurant. It was bliss.

The rest of the day was like a mirage in mere seconds. Ticia wore a smile that could be seen from the rooftops and Art was responsible. Their love for their friends and big families was detailed in every adornment. Every person that meant something to them in that ballroom surrounded them. Ticia’s sister moved the room with her toast, and Art’s best friend reciprocated with a glass in hand. It was as if their life’s journey had paved the way for both of them to meet. She had surprises up her sleeve, from the cake to the processional song. The grand finale– Levi’s Stadium as their portrait backdrop in honor of Art’s affinity for the 49ers. It was every photographer’s dream, and I got to capture it.

Everyone was in full celebration of their marriage. There were moves in that room that could rival James Brown and even Michael Jackson. It was contagious, the music and everyone was smiling. The crowd was going wild, and the spotlight was on Ticia and Art. It was hard to tear ourselves away, but everyone heeded to Ticia and Art’s wishes for a grand portrait on the dance floor.

Ticia and Art, our hearts sang to every track and cheer played that day. Your love for one another and your family was so tangible and evident through every gesture and detail. We feel honored and overwhelmingly privileged to have captured this day for you and the future Cordova’s.
